Introducing the Assessment Dropbox

The Assessment Dropbox tool allows you to see users’ submission times, download assignments to your computer, view submissions, associate assessment Dropbox folders to rubrics and competencies, and return submissions with grades and feedback.

The Dropbox tool allows you to set up assignments that students can submit online. You can set up separate Dropbox folders for each assignment and set up start dates and deadlines. Once assignments are submitted, you can view them online, download them, check submission times, enter a score, add qualitative feedback, and return submissions with comments, all from within the Dropbox tool. You can also check for potential cases of plagiarism by enabling Turnitin, which will check each submission against vast databases of previous assignments, journal articles and other web references.

Each folder's Folder Submissions area has search and filter options that enable you to find users' submitted files by first or last name, students with or without a submission, submissions within a date range, and whether the student has or has not received feedback.

You can view users' submissions and submission dates in the Folder Submissions area allowing you track when files were submitted.
